As part of our commitment to fostering a diverse and global team, this fully remote position invites applications from candidates located in time zones ranging from UTC+1 to UTC-10 (from Central European/West Africa time through to Hawaii Time). This unique opportunity allows you to join our international team from anywhere within these regions, offering significant flexibility in how and where you work. This job lets you work from anywhere in the specified time zones. However, we'll need you to be available for meetings at times we agree on. This helps us all stay connected and work well together, no matter where we are.


Candidates local to Shoreline, WA will be given special consideration for some in-person work.



Your workweek will include a mix of online meetings with Dr. Sarah during Pacific Time zone hours, and independent work.


Leveraging your exceptional administrative, digital marketing, and communication skills, you will play a pivotal role in supporting couples to thrive, serving as Dr. Sarah's lead assistant and digital marketing expert. Laser-focused and self-motivated, your experience and love of learning infuses energy into mastering new software, building company systems, and seeing ideas through to the finish line.


As you tackle tasks with efficiency (and attention to detail a microscope would envy), you're quick to pivot when needed and curious about every piece of the picture, big and small. You find it exciting to support a small business with purpose as it grows, knowing that your contributions will not only support Dr. Sarah but also amplify our message, helping couples worldwide to communicate and connect more effectively. This insight into how an online business advances in its field is both rewarding and integral to our mission.

Your position will include tasks and duties in at least these three main areas:


Executive Assistant & Support: Serve as Dr. Sarah's right hand and additional memory bank, collaboratively brainstorming and planning to foster focus, efficiency, and intentionality in her work. Embrace a CEO mindset to oversee ideas from conception to completion.
  • Your ability to remember details and big-picture objectives makes you a key A-player in CEO meetings, ensuring every idea gets noticed, remembered, and acted on promptly. This is an essential part of your job – strong memory and organization are absolutely key.
  • Your excellent judgment and positive, up-beat nature help move the company forward. You help Dr. Sarah to stay on task and work productively.
Marketing, Affiliate Networking, & Relationship Building: Analyze and enhance the entire marketing funnel, including GA4 analytics, SEO analysis, and A/B testing. Organize, create, and implement strategies to engage couples seeking improved relationships, including affiliate partnerships and social media initiatives. The more sales the Couples Communication Institute makes, the better for all of us!
  • Leveraging Google Analytics 4 and other data for understanding, interpreting, and making use of analytics, helps you to help guide the Couples Communication Institute’s marketing strategy. Excellent copywriting is an asset to the team in creating compelling organic and paid messages.
  • Scrolling has a whole new meaning as you research, envision, create, and take action on sharing important messages for couples that promote, educate, connect, and inspire. While Social Media Marketing is a key part of your role, it’s not the primary focus.
  • Making friends everywhere you go, you leverage Dr. Sarah’s many connections by enthusiastically promoting synergistic affiliate partners, and encouraging them to effectively promote the Couples Communication Institute in return, to increase sales.


Organization & Business Implementation: Execute classic business tasks such as correspondence, project management, and proofreading.
  • Your organizational prowess makes managing incoming emails and messages from customers, business partners, and team members seamless. And with time management skills like yours, consistently checking in on ongoing projects and checking off high-priority tasks brings that warm and fuzzy good-day-at-work feeling.
  • You enter everything professionally into the project management system (ClickUp) and keep track of progress.



  • Starting at approximately 30 hours per week, depending on skills and experience.
  • 40 hours per week possible soon as you demonstrate proficiency and can take on more tasks.
  • U.S. Pacific time zone daytime hours – approximately 9:30-3:30 PM Pacific Time, to start.
  • Availability during unscheduled hours is sometimes needed for troubleshooting or answering quick questions.
  • Have an up-to-date powerful computer with plenty of available storage; reliable internet access with backup; high quality web cam.

Ideally, you will have at least two years of experience in executive support, digital marketing, and business & marketing assistance, demonstrating a proven ability to multitask effectively. We're particularly interested in candidates with a robust track record in digital marketing, especially those who have successfully managed SEO and analytics-driven campaigns. Experience in optimizing marketing funnel efficiency and achieving measurable growth in customer engagement is highly valued.


Additionally, having contributed to the launch or growth of start-up entrepreneurs’ small businesses and understanding the dynamics of a new company will be considered a significant plus. We are looking for a go-getter, someone who is not only ready to dive into challenges but can also navigate them with confidence and agility, handling whatever comes their way.

  • College-level proficiency and outstanding skills in verbal and written English with impeccable spelling, grammar, and proofreading
  • Proficient in Google: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Analytics 4
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • The more experience and expertise with ActiveCampaign the better
  • Experienced and comfortable with digital/online marketing business models
  • Comfortable with AI, including experience with ChatGPT
  • Marketing and ad copywriting
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Good time management skills
  • Quickly learn and teach yourself new tech and software – we use ActiveCampaign, WordPress and plug-ins, ClickUp, Adobe Suite, among others


  • ActiveCampaign or experience with similar complex email management is essential
  • WordPress and page builders – we use Beaver Builder
  • LifterLMS or experience with similar LMS plug-in
  • ClickUp or similar productivity software
  • Online ad campaign creation & management
  • In-depth knowledge of Instagram, Facebook
  • Content creation of social media, blog posts, and emails
  • Editing and ghost-writing e-books and video scripts
  • Interest or background in psychology and/or relationships
  • Experience with digital marketing funnels
  • Adobe: InDesign especially, and Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro
