In the Couples Communication Made Easy course, Dr. Sarah teaches the same tools and techniques she’s taught to her therapy clients for 35 years.
This online course was designed, at the Self-Directed and Guided levels, to support people who want to learn new methods of communicating in a safe, effective way, without the need for a therapist, and it was not designed or intended to replace traditional couples therapy.
You can certainly benefit from taking this course before, during, or after couples therapy to learn, remember, and practice your communication together.
Group Action Calls
When you enroll in the Guided or Premium levels, you will be able to participate in the Group Action Calls, either on your own, or with your partner. The Group Action Calls help you stay motivated, engaged, and moving through the course. To reach your goal of a close and connected relationship, you will want every advantage to help you take action and finish the course and practice what you’ve learned together.
In the Group Action Calls, you'll strengthen your bond with your partner in the collective, shared experience of community with other motivated couples. Knowing that you're part of a movement of couples who value growth and excellent communication together will add to your progress. Your questions will be answered so that you can best implement and practice what you’re learning during the initial three months of the course. Action Calls help you up-level your new communication skills to talk more effectively and grow closer in your relationship(s).
The Group Action Calls with Dr. Sarah are not therapy sessions, and are intended for the purpose of motivation, inspiration, guidance and instructional support pertaining to the coursework only.
Private Action Calls
When you enroll in the Premium level, exclusive to those in Washington State where Dr. Sarah is licensed, you gain access to Private Action Calls. These sessions are tailored to dive deeper into your relationship's unique dynamics. While the "Couples Communication Made Easy" course equips you with foundational skills and principles, the Private Action Calls with Dr. Sarah supercharge your learning. They ensure that you efficiently integrate and apply the course material to your specific challenges and situations.
The confidentiality and focused nature of these calls mean your unique concerns are addressed directly. It's the perfect blend of self-paced learning from the course, complemented by expert insights and guidance from Dr. Sarah. - Aren't ready to take time to learn and practice new ways of doing things in your relationship.
- Need the deeper help of ongoing long-term work with a licensed, practicing, couples therapist. If you're looking for a couples therapist, find a Gottman therapist in your area.
